In August, some clients had the good fortune of shooting in various exotic locales such as Hawaii! Thailand! and… Winnipeg… and… Duncan, BC.
Barclay Hope worked on the Tim Burton feature “Big Eyes” opposite Christoph Waltz and Amy Adams. Following a day’s shoot in Vancouver, Barclay later flew to Honolulu to shoot his scenes.
Dan Payne went from one extreme to the other, shooting a series of days on “The Hunters” with Michelle Forbes and Alexa Vega in Thailand. Later in the month, he found himself in Winnipeg, guest starring on CBC’s “Arctic Air”. Don Thompson also travelled to The Peg to guest star on “Arctic Air”.
Frank C. Turner was back and forth between Vancouver and Duncan all summer, recurring as “The Mayor” on The HUB’s “Spooksville”.
Some of our clients have shot in South Africa, Poland, Romania, Mexico, North Carolina, China and many, many more exciting locations, but most will tell you that work anywhere, is good.
***And later in September… Tricia Helfer relocates to Albuquerque, New Mexico to star in a new ABC series. “Killer Women” will be shot in the same studio where ‘Breaking Bad’ was filmed and many of the same crew will be working with Tricia. Very exciting indeed!
